Endstille was founded in 2000 by L. Wachtfels (guitar), Mayhemic Destructor (drums), Iblis (vocals), and Cruor (bass). L. Wachtfels and Mayhemic Destructor previously played with Tauthr, Iblis, and Cruor in Octoria. Under the pseudonym "MD," Mayhemic Destructor also plays in the rock band Overdrive Sensation, with the guitarist having previously been in a stoner-rock band.
