31/03/2010 : IMPALED NAZARENE news. We have decided to re-sign with Osmose Productions once again. It was actually very easy decision to make: We are celebrating 20 years of I.N. on November 2010. All our full length albums have come out on Osmose and basically we felt no other label should have our anniversary album. We will enter Hellhole Studio (Helsinki) in late summer to record our 11th full length album. Album title tba. We have been busy working on new songs, we have four ready. We have two shows left (April 10th in Helsinki, Finland and May 1st in Switzerland) and after them we stop playing shows till new album is out. We will fully concentrate on making our strongest album to date.
Not only we will have new album out on November 2010.
We will play our 20th anniversary show in Kuopio, the most metal city in Finland. This show will be on 20th of November at Henry´s Pub club. We will FINALLY record live dvd there. We chose Kuopio and Henry´s Pub simply because Kuopio has the best audience in Finland and Henry´s Pub is the best club in Finland. Yes it is small but perfect for live dvd recording.

26/03/2010 : "Djinn", the second album by MELECHESH, will be reissued as a luxuous double CD digisleeve limited to 2000 copies on April 12th. Melechesh’s second album, "Djinn" was originally released in 2001 and marked an important shift towards their unique style of Mesopotamian Metal. The album is now due to be re-released with a completely new artwork, a remastered version of the album (remastering by Maor Appelbaum who worked with Yngwie Malmsteen, Halford, Therion and Armored Saint) and an exclusive bonus CD with an unreleased 1998 demo.

25/06/2009: IMPALED NAZARENE "Tol cormpt norz norz norz" as well as "Ugra karma" re-issue on Gatefold double LP are finally delayed. Now both record will be out under 12' LP and not 10'EP as originally state, This change happen to get a better sound result, so since we have to change the format, and also since we will be close from July 19th till August 20th, it simply make no sense to release there now as the stock won't be delivery until mid July.
22/06/2009: SHINING album is delayed again and again from the factory...We've got a new delivery date now who is set up for May 30th, 2009, while we are not 100% sure if all will work out good from the printing company who is handleling the booklet and the tray card of the CD. We still face the same problem with the quality printing who does not satisfy anybody at the pressing plan.

17/06/2009: HATE FOREST (Ukraine) secure a deal with Osmose Productions to re-issue all the band's back catalogue, together 6 records who will be publish from October 2009 till March 2010. The re-issues will come under special packaging Digisleeve limited to 1000 each, with much improved booklets and carefully remastered audio version, close to original.
HATE FOREST was a Ukrainian black metal band (1995-2004). The music can be described as grim, aggressive and straightforward mix of black and death metal with distorted low vocal and ambient elements. The band's lyrics are influenced by Indo-European mythology and legends, H.P.Lovecraft mythology and philosophy of F. Nietzsche, conservatism. HATE FOREST were always far from politics, religion, denied any modern world values and ideals. The band never gave interviews, never made photos and always hold the distance from the whole black metal scene.
SHINING : due to technical printing problems with the booklet the CD version might be available for the 23rd. Same problem with the vinyl version excepted we don't have yet a delivery date.

"Hanc Aciem Sola Retundit Virtus (the algolagnia divine)", first opus of the project, is a revaluation of the christian concept of Death, which, from a primeval punishment against the sinner, becomes an instrument of revenge towards Abraham's God.
Through the first three stations, representing the main examples of malamorte, the concept reaches a final thought with an ode to the mighty Opposer, the flaming Rebel. Sin and Virtue become the instruments, for he who was born as a son, to reclaim his right to the Lord.
Killing God in this sense, through Sin or our own Death, the individual will reborn in the glory of Cain's blood, not as a man, but as a God.
The path undertaken by FIDES INVERSA needs, for the aim of his complete conceptual purity, total anonymity. Neither the provenance, nor the mind behind the words, nor the arms behind the musical performance shall be revealed, in order to give not glory to men, but to our Lord.
Music and lyrics were composed between 2006 to 2008. Recorded in the first months of 2009, Osmose Productions is pround to announce the signature of the band.

07/04/2009: Norwegian Black Metallers Slagmaur, who recently inked a 3-album deal with Osmose to re-release their earlier albums "Svin" and "Skrekk Lich Kunstler", as well as their new album "Von Rov Shelter", have today released the front cover artwork for "Von Rov Shelter." check it at : Web Site: www.slagmaur.com
The band issued the following statement about the artwork:
"The entire artwork for the album is the work of photographer and graphic artist Tine Marie Lund Kristensen and artist Robert Hoyem, and is based on a concept Slagmaur's founder, General Gribbsphiiser. The front cover is a representation of Leonardo Da Vinci's painting "The Last Supper", and the set itself took three weeks to build and light in order to capture the feel of the original as faithfully as possible.
"There, however, the similarity ends, with the figures of Christ and the Apostles being replaced by band members, friends and fictional characters in the guise of various satanic characters, and biblical or historical figures. THORNS Snorre W Ruch takes on the role of Cain, Åtselgribb is Judas Iscariot, Freddy Krueger is Nero, Bzilla is Legion, Krush is Belial, General Gribbsphiiser and Lilith are themselves.
"Von Rov Shelter", which is already receiving critical praise from pre-release listenings, is expected to be released on Osmose later this year, whilst "Svin" and "Skrekk Lich Kunstler" will be released shortly."

SLAGMAUR's "Von Rov Shelter" To Be Released on Osmose Reclusive Norwegian Black Metallers SLAGMAUR have confirmed that they have signed with Osmose Productions for the release of their forthcoming album "Von Rov Shelter". This follows on from an earlier announcement that the band had signed with Osmose for the re-release of two of their previous albums "Svin" and "Skrekk Lich Kunstler". "Von Rov Shelter", which means "Lair of the Beast" in Norwegian, was composed in much the same way as the 18th Century classical pieces, and has been over a year in the making, due to the painstaking work that goes into the approach that the band takes with its music in order to create a sinister, multi-layered sound. Standard rock instruments have been combined with classical instrument such as cellos and double basses, which SLAGMAUR's mastermind, General Gribbsphiiser, learned to play especially for the album. The album's artwork was conceived by Gribbsphiiser to illustrate the lyrics of each song, working together with photographer and graphic artist Tine Marie Lund Kristensen, artist Robert Hoyem and seven actors, including the band themselves and Snorre W Ruch from the band THORNS, to produce the images he had envisaged. The front cover itself was shot following three weeks of preparation to build and light a set replicating Leonardo Da Vinci's painting "The Last Supper", but, as is usual with this band, there is a sinister twist to the whole thing that will be revealed when the artwork is finished. Contributing to the lyrics on "Von Rov Shelter" is Thomas B Whitaker, an inmate on Death Row at the Polunsky Unit, in Livingstone, Texas. The band's manager had this to say about Whitaker's participation in the project: "Gribbsphiiser had been working out the concept for the lyrics, and was researching some material on the net, when he came across Whitaker's website. He was struck by Whitaker's ability to write prose, and express how it feels to be experiencing life from the perspective of someone who has to confront the enormity of what they have done, and face the consequences. Whitaker had never written any lyrics before, but he was willing to try, and when the band read them, they found them to be what they were looking for. They are used exactly as he wrote them, with no editing. As is inevitable when you are dealing with a prison system though, letters go "astray" in both directions, and unfortunately not as many lyrics as the band were intending to use actually arrived, so the whole concept had to be adjusted slightly".

07/01/2009: As you might have seen on the new mailorder n°131, we did announce the new SHINING album for the January 26th, 2009. But as today, we decide to delay it again, since the recording master still did not reach us ! A new date will be communicate soon.
We announce also the coming of the excellent french band REVERENCE in our rank ! Check out urgently their killer previous work on Avantgarde Music ! The band will enter the Drudenhaus Studios in March 2009. This new opus will consist of 8 tracks, for about 60 minutes long.

05/01/2009: Osmose Productions have signed Norwegian Black Metallers SLAGMAUR for a two-album deal that will see the re-release of two of the band's earlier albums: "Svin" and "Skrekk Lich Kunstler".
Commenting on the signing, Patricia Thomas, the UK-based manager of the notoriously reclusive band, who come from a remote part of Norway and who prefer to remain detached from the Black Metal scene, confirmed that the band had been approached by several labels in respect of their back catalogue: "The band have always been adamant that they themselves retain complete control over every aspect of their output.Osmose was able to appreciate the benefits of allowing SLAGMAUR to continue working in a way that has proved to be very successful so far, and both band and label felt comfortable with each other".
