The 'Smashes The State' DVD documents a variety of live work from this influential political grindcore band. The various members of the band have gone on to form several other bands, including Pig Destroyer, and members have also gone on to such diverse groups as Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Drugs Of Faith and Frodus. 'Smashes The State' features never-before-seen live footage of 24 songs taken from shows between 1996 and 1998, plus a set from their 2001 reunion gig at CBGB in New York City.
