The ambient/folk-influenced opening of "Väinämöinen," with its whispered vocals and the sounds of the Finnish kantale, is somewhat reminiscent of Tenhi. Even after the electric guitar enters, the clear Finnish vocals initially keep the music melodic and catchy before aggressive black metal sections are added. Throughout the nearly 14-minute track, melodic, folk-tinged passages alternate with harsh black metal sections, creating a similar atmosphere to Finnish bands like October Falls or Wyrd. An extremely strong start! Next up is "Palasista Koottu Ruumis." After an aggressive opening with raw guitars and death metal growls, there are also quiet, atmospheric ambient passages, reminiscent of Hugin's ambient project Uruk-Hai. This track, too, is very epic at 15 minutes and thrives on the interplay between death/black metal aggression and mystical ambience, which, with its whispered vocals, creates a dark and mysterious atmosphere. "Kuolemanrangaistus," the album's shortest track, blasts from the speakers with predominantly aggressive energy. "Sammon Ryöstö" also begins with fast, very straightforward black metal. In the second half, the piece becomes more atmospheric and melodic, with the folk influences becoming particularly evident in the vocals.
