Liðskjálf, or Hlidskjalf, is the sixth studio album by Norwegian black metal band Burzum. This album is the second recorded by Varg Vikernes while in prison for murder and arson. Vikernes stated in an interview that he would stop making music under the name Burzum, making Hliðskjálf the band's final album. However, in a May 2005 interview, Vikernes stated that after his release, he would continue recording as Burzum and that the sound of the upcoming album would be similar to that of previous albums.
