LORD GORE emerged from the heavily fertile Portland, Oregon death and grind scene of the early 2000s. Alongside putrid contemporaries such as FIGHTMARE, Fornicator, and Blood Freak, LORD GORE were among the pivotal acts who defined the glory years of Razorback Records. Most importantly, the band helped bring the genuine fun back to gory, grinding death metal with their repulsive classic, Resickened.
When diving into the murky, blood soaked waters of goregrind, it is rare to find a record that perfectly balances absolute brutality with genuine musical craftsmanship. Originally released on Christmas Eve of 2004, Resickened serves as a masterclass in zombie grind. The group cuts through the dense fog of the extreme underground by executing their putrid vision with remarkable precision and infectious, horrific energy.
